P1335 1997 TOYOTA CAMRY - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Fault

Possible causes

- Faulty Crankshaft Position Sensor
- Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- ECM

Possible symptoms

- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of Power
- Engine Stall

P1335 1997 Toyota Camry Description
Crankshaft Position Sensor (NE signal) consist of a signal plate and pick up coil. The NE signal plate has 34 teeth and is mounted on the crankshaft. The NE signal sensor generates 34
signals of every engine revolution. The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the standard crankshaft angle based on the signals, and the actual crankshaft angle the engine speed by the NE signals.
